Cancellation and Refund Policy
Overview
At Holiday Backpackers, we strive to make every trip comfortable, memorable, and budget-friendly. We request all travelers to cooperate with the trip coordinators in case of any unforeseen situations during the journey.
Trip Guidelines
- The trip host reserves the right to add or remove any participant if necessary for the smooth conduct and safety of the trip.
- The itinerary, routes, activities, timings, and duration may be changed depending on weather conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements, or any unavoidable circumstances.
- Participants are requested to cooperate with the decisions made by the organizers, as all decisions are taken keeping traveler safety as the top priority.
Water Activities Disclaimer
- Water and adventure activities are subject to weather conditions and local authority permissions.
- If any water activity is stopped or cancelled by the adventure zone/operator due to safety or operational reasons, the company will not be held responsible for the cancellation.
- However, if any booked activity is cancelled due to an error or issue from the company’s side, the applicable activity amount will be refunded to the traveler.
Cancellation Policy
If a participant cancels their booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:
- 30 days or more before the trip start date: 25% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- 15 to 30 days before the trip start date: 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- 0 to 15 days before the trip start date: 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Refund Policy
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting cancellation charges as mentioned above.
- Refund timelines may vary depending on payment gateway and banking procedures.
- No refund will be provided for no-shows, missed departures, or unused services during the trip.
- Any refund related to activity cancellations from the company’s side will be processed separately.
